Visakhapatnam: Governor of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana States ESL Narasimhan, who arrived at the airport here on Tuesday to attend the valedictory of CII Partnership Summit, directly went to Lord Varaha Lakshmi Nrusimha Swamy temple at Simhachalam accompanied by Ministers Ganta Srinivasa Rao, Palle Raghunatha Reddy and Ravela Kishore Kumar.

Temple priests and executive officer K Ramachandra Mohan received the Governor and Ministers with temple honours where he performed special puja to the Lord. Temple executive officer Ramachandra Mohan presented the Lord’s Sesha Vastram and prasadam to the Governor and Ministers.

Minister for Information Technology Palle Raghunatha Reddy told reporters that the three-day CII Partnership Summit was a grand success. Summing up about the summit, he informed that a total of 314 MoUs were signed with different industrialists for investing Rs 3.89 lakh crore which would create 7.5 lakh jobs.

As far as the IT sector is concerned, he said that the State has received investments worth Rs 3,168 crore with an employment generation of 75,000.
