Bullet Suresh suspect in Mayor murder case: CI

Urban Circle Inspector Niranjan Kumar said that police personnel are adopting innovative measures to make city crime-free. Speaking to The Hans India here on Thursday, the CI said that the police have credible information over the alleged involvement of Bullet Suresh, General Secretary, AP BC Welfare Association, in the Mayor couple murder case.
Chittoor: Urban Circle Inspector Niranjan Kumar said that police personnel are adopting innovative measures to make city crime-free. Speaking to The Hans India here on Thursday, the CI said that the police have credible information over the alleged involvement of Bullet Suresh, General Secretary, AP BC Welfare Association, in the Mayor couple murder case. The CI said notices were served to Suresh to appear before a city police station for interrogation. He stated that Suresh did not turn up instead he has been absconding.
“Suresh, who has role in red sanders smuggling, is trying to escape from the eyes of the police by using his influence,” he added. He said that the police would arrest Suresh as he is one of the key suspects in the Mayor couple murder case. Niranjan Kumar further said that designated court would conduct trial of Chintu, who is main accused in the double murder case, through video conference from Kadapa Central Jail.
The CI said that more policemen are deployed in 50 divisions to maintain law and order. He stated that they are taking measures to curb eve-teasing in the city. District SP G Srinivas has given instructions to end ragging in the educational institutions.
