10 YSRCP MLAs may join TDP
Ripples are being felt in the YSRCP as TDP is targeting YSRCP MLAs from the Rayalaseema and North Coastal Andhra regions. Party sources told The Hans India that the TDP had identified ten of the YSRCP MLAs from whom the TDP may take five or six of them.

Prominent among them and perhaps the first in order to join the TDP will be Nandyal MLA Bhuma Nagi Reddy and his daughter Akhilapriya Reddy who represents Allagadda constituency. Sources said that Nagi Reddy may call on TDP national president N Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday.
The Kurnool strongman held a meeting with his supporters on Friday. TDP is said to be willing to accommodate one of the two in the state cabinet. It is being said that four other MLAs along with him are likely to join the yellow party. When asked about joining TDP, Bhuma Nagi Reddy evaded a reply and said that soon he would talk about it.
Meanwhile, his followers said that they would abide by any decision Bhuma takes. It may be mentioned here that Nagi Reddy’s wife Shobha Nagi Reddy was in the TDP for a long time. Nagi Reddy at present is the chairman of Public Accounts Committee. If he quits the YSRCP, it would be a big blow for the party.
The only worry for the TDP was that Deputy Chief Minister K E Krishnamurty, who is also from the same district, may oppose Bhuma’s entry. But now it appears that even KE does not have any objection for Naidu’s decision on Bhuma. Party sources said that Naidu has asked KE and other senior leaders to be available in Vijayawada on Saturday.
Apart from these two, others who are in close contact with TDP are S V Mohan Reddy, Ilaiah, Budda Rajasekhar Reddy, Bala Nagi Reddy, Gouru Sucharita and Mani Gandhi. It is also being speculated that two MLAs who are likely to defect include Guntur East MLA Mohamed Mustafa and Bapatla MLA Kona Raghupathy. According to sources, these MLAs are in close contact with two senior TDP leaders and are holding negotiations.
When asked about it, the YSRCP spokesperson Ambati Rambabu said that the TDP was indulging in mind game as it was jittery that the anti-incumbency factor was growing among people. He expressed confidence that no one would leave YSRCP and join a sinking ship, TDP.
