Goddess Rajeshwari’s Jyoti celebrations

Banaganapalle: The Jyoti celebrations of Goddess Rajeshwari in Nandavaram village of this mandal were organised on Tuesday on a grand scale by devotees and residents. Traditionally, the event is held the next day of Ugadi in the presence of devotees from across the State.

The devotees carried burning jyoti on their heads while going round the village streets. They completed vows to the goddess. Temple Executive Officer Ramanujan said all arrangements have been made for the convenience of the pilgrims participating in the celebrations.

Among those present was temple Trust Board Chairman Kumar Reddy. Panyam SI Narendra Reddy made security arrangements so as to prevent any untoward incidents.
