Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi leaders burn CM effigy
Demanding SC classification, Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi (MRPS) leaders burnt effigy of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu at YSR Circle in Rajampet on Tuesday. The MRPS leaders and activists gathered at YSR Circle in sizable number and raised slogans against the Chief Minister for not fulfilling an election promise.
Rajampet (Kadapa): Demanding SC classification, Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi (MRPS) leaders burnt effigy of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu at YSR Circle in Rajampet on Tuesday. The MRPS leaders and activists gathered at YSR Circle in sizable number and raised slogans against the Chief Minister for not fulfilling an election promise.
Speaking on the occasion, MRPS mandal president Siva Kumar criticised the State government for not taking SC classification seriously. He said categorisation of SCs in the State will help the Madigas to develop in all sectors. He said that the Madigas are minorities in the State when compared to Adi Andhra.
He lamented that the successive governments have neglected Madigas for several years. Siva Kumar demanded that the government take up SC categorisation and render justice to Madigas.
