Chikithsa Vahanam launched
State Information Minister Palle Raghunatha Reddy and Civil Supplies Minister Paritala Sunitha has participated in the launch of ‘Chandranna Sanchara Chikithsa Vahanam\' at a function organised by the department of Medical and Health at the local government junior college here on Wednesday.

Speaking on the occasion, Information and IT Minister Palle Raghunatha Reddy said that he was overwhelmed at so many good things happening on the birthday of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu including the launch of Sanchara Chikithsa Vahanam, Rota Virus Vaccine, Polio injection and NTR medical services.
He asked the Medical department to ensure that the services launched today reach all villages in the district. The Sanchara Vahanam would check BP, Sugar, asthma and other clinical diagnostic services free of cost at their doorstep in the villages. He said that the scheme is a boon to all the poor and underprivileged sections.
Minister for Civil Supplies Paritala Sunitha launched the Rota Virus Vaccine and also the polio injection on the occasion. She said that the ‘Thalli Bidda Express’ was a great boon to pregnant women. The pregnant women are also being given an allowance of Rs 1,000 during their pregnancy period.
She also called upon the medical staff to be available 24 hours a day at the hospitals in view of several sunstroke deaths being reported. She warned of stringent action against those negligent in their duties. MLC Samanthakamani also spoke.
