Ahmed Hussain elected chief of Andhra Pradesh Haj Panel

M Ahmed Hussain of Atmakur was elected president of Andhra Pradesh Haj Committee in Hyderabad on Tuesday, by the 12 directors. He will take charge within a week in the presence of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. People belonging to all sections of society celebrated his election. Hussain told The Hans India that he has elected chairman by the 12 directors.

He has been in Telugu Desam Party since 1992. In the united State, Hussain was chairman of the Minorities Corporation. He has got the nominated post after TDP came to power in the State. Hussain secured recognition after serving the TDP during the last 25 years. He rose to power after being a follower of former MLA Budda Vengal Reddy. He was election observer for several districts.
