Eamcet certificates screening begins
Both of them enquired about the facilities available and the counselling centre from campus officer Prof U Shamim and asked him to see that there should not be any inconvenience to the candidates.
Visakhapatnam: Screening and verification of certificates at the newly established EAMCET counselling centre Andhra University began here on Wednesday which was examined by In-charge Vice-Chancellor Prof E A Narayana and Registrar Prof V Umamaheswara Rao.
Both of them enquired about the facilities available and the counselling centre from campus officer Prof U Shamim and asked him to see that there should not be any inconvenience to the candidates.
An additional centre was set up here for the benefit of candidates, they added. The campus officer said that a total of 240 candidates attended the screening on the first day.
The authorities appealed to the candidates to bring EAMCET rank card, hall ticket, mark sheets of SSC and Intermediate, study certificate from Class 6th to Intermediate, caste, income and residence certificates Aadhaar card and two sets of Xerox copies while attending the verification of certificates. Candidates belonging to OCs and BCs have to pay Rs 1,000 and SC ST candidates Rs 500 towards processing fee.
