Nalgonda: AP Endowment Minister P Manikyala Rao appreciated the initiation of the Telangana government to develop Yadadri temple on the lines of Tirumala. On Wednesday, he visited the temple town and performed special puja to Lord Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy at Bala Alayam.

Later speaking to the media, he said the development of temples in any State will enhance the image of the respective governments in the public. Stating that the Andhra Pradesh government is taking all necessary steps for the convenience of the pilgrims during Krishna Pushkarams, to be commenced from August third week, he said the AP government is expecting 40 lakh devotees to Vijayawada during the Pushkarams to have holy dip in Krishna water.

On his visit to the temple town, the temple priests welcomed him with Purna Kumbham and blessed him as per the temple rituals. The Minister was accompanied by local BJP leaders during his Yadadri visit.
