Madakasira poised for growth with 4-laning connectivity: MLC

Madakasira (Anantapur): MLC G Thippeswamy has indicated that Madakasira would emerge as an industrial corridor with the Central government sanctioning the 120 kilometre 4-lane road that would link the National Highway 4.

Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday after being closeted with Regional Roads and Buildings regional engineer Shiva Kumar, MLC Thippeswamy stated that the 4-lane road would be laid from Kidikonda to Shira linking the same to NH4. The total length is 120 km. The Central government has given green signal for the road project.

The MLC stated that rapid industrialisation would take place in and around Madakasira. Already 3,000 acres had been acquired for an industrial estate in Agali, 1,000 acres in Ralla and 1,500 acres in Madakasira. He said that more number of industries will come up in the region in view of its close proximity to Benguluru airport and city. R&B executive engineer Srinadh and local deputy engineer Hahilingappa were also present.
