Make Krishna Pushkaralu a success, officials told
Collector Ch Vijay Mohan called upon government officials and people to make Krishna Pushkaralu a grand success.
Kurnool: Collector Ch Vijay Mohan called upon government officials and people to make Krishna Pushkaralu a grand success.
He held a meeting with officials, who were drafted for Krishna Pushkaralu, at Sunaina Auditorium here on Sunday.
Addressing the officials, the Collector said the Pushkaralu will be celebrated at Kurnool, Guntur and Krishna districts. He said that the
Pushkaralu will be celebrated at Sangameswaram and Srisailam in the district. He said that an approach road was laid and also
illuminated at Sangameswaram for the convenience of devotees.
The Collector said the Rural Water Supply (RWS) department would be providing drinking water for the devotees and the Revenue
department would provide basic amenities.
He said that bathing ghats were constructed at Pathala Ganga and Lingala Gattu. On this occasion, an awareness programme on “How to
Control Crowd” was organised by a resource person Prasanna Kumar of Dr Marri Channa Reddy Human Resource Development Institute,
Hyderabad.
Joint Collector Hari Kiran, DRO Gangadhar Goud and other officials were present.
