‘Challan system keeps pace with modern tech’
Training classes are conducted for police personnel of Rajamahendravaram urban district on e-challan which will be implemented in the urban district under the aegis of SP B Raja Kumari.
Rajamahendravaram: Training classes are conducted for police personnel of Rajamahendravaram urban district on e-challan which will be implemented in the urban district under the aegis of SP B Raja Kumari.
The e-challan system has been formulated for people who are violating traffic rules, who have to pay the amount either through mee-seva centres, net banking or Paytm within 15 days.
Speaking on the occasion, B Raja Kumari said that the e-challan system is being introduced to keep pace with the modern technology.
She explained that the e-challan would be sent to either resident’s address or mobile number along with photo, vehicle number and complete details of the person who has violated rules. She said that this system would be implemented after conducting a trail run on September 23. As many as seven DSPs, nine Inspectors and 26 Sub-Inspectors attended the training programme.
