Vijayawada: Director General of Police (DGP) N Sambasiva Rao gave assurance to police officers and staff on Tuesday on providing Master Health Checkup to them. The DGP said that he would discuss with Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and it can be announced on the occasion of Police Commemoration Day to be observed on October 21.

Deep Trust has developed a special app to store the digital health details of police staff in Vijayawada. Deep Trust is giving services to the police and conducted medical tests. DGP Sambasiva Rao and City Police Commissioner D Gautam Sawang felicitated the doctors associated with Deep Trust.

Speaking on the occasion, the DGP said that police officers and staff have been facing health problems due to various reasons. Most of the police personnel were affected with health problems after joining job, he said. Police should identify deceases in advance, he added.

City Police Commissioner Gautam Sawang, Deputy Police Commissioers (DCP) GVG Ashok Kumar, G Pala Raju, Dr Koya Praveen, Kanthi Rana Tata, Deep Trust founder Kalapala Rekesh, A Jagadeesh and others participated in the event.
