Ravela lays foundation stone for road works
Minister for Social Welfare Ravela Kishore Babu laid the foundation stone for laying B T Road for the construction of culvert, drains at Sri Venkateswara Colony in Gorantla at a cost of Rs 4.5 crore.
Guntur: Minister for Social Welfare Ravela Kishore Babu laid the foundation stone for laying B T Road for the construction of culvert, drains at Sri Venkateswara Colony in Gorantla at a cost of Rs 4.5 crore.
Speaking on this occasion, he said that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was giving top priority to improve infrastructure in the rural areas. As a part of this programme, the district administration is improving the infrastructure in Gorantla.
He explained steps taken by the government to lay roads in SC Colonies under the SC Sub-plan. He further stated that the government has taken steps to impart skill development training to the SC youth to get jobs.
He urged the eligible youth avail the facility provided by the government. He further said that government was sanctioning ration cards, pensions and benefits under various welfare schemes. He said he would be within the reach of the people and solve problems. The GMC officials were also present.
