Guntur: BJP Dalit Morcha State president Dara Sambaiah said that the Centre granted special package to the State and sanctioned several national institutes for the speedy development. He felt that special package is better than Special Category Status.
Addressing a press conference here on Sunday, he said that Special Category Status is a closed chapter and added that the State government has expressed satisfaction over the special package announced by the Centre.
He said that the Central government was extending necessary cooperation to the State for the speedy development. BJP Guntur district president Nallbotu Vejnkata Rao was also present at the press meet.
