Fervour marks fest at Tirumala
The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) observed Sri Rama Navami Astanam at the hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala on Wednesday evening. Temple priests performed Snapana Tirumanjanam (celestial bath) to processional deities of Lord Rama, Seetha, Lakshmana, Anjaneya Swamy at Ranganayakula Mandapam inside Srivari Temple in the morning.

The processional deity of Lord Rama was taken on a procession in the four mada streets on Hanumantha Vahanam. Later, the temple priests performed special pujas. Tirumala JEO KS Srinivasa Raju, Deputy EO Rama Rao, Peishkars Ramesh, Ashok and others took part.Sri Rama Kalyanam was performed in Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy temple at Tummalagunta on Wednesday.
Temple trustee and MLA Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy participated and supervised the arrangements. Pattabhishekam will be held in the temple on Thursday evening. Sri Rama Navami was celebrated in a grand way at Kodandarama Swamy temple in Tirupati. Lord Rama rode on Hanumantha Vahanam and went in a procession in the four mada streets of the temple.
Seetha Rama Kalyanam will be performed in the temple on Thursday evening. People can participate in the Kalyanam by paying Rs 750.
