Fish landing centre at Biyyaputippa in July
The state sponsored Fish Landing Centre would be taken up in July this year at Biyyaputippa village in Narsapuram rural mandal. Officials are making all necessary arrangements for the inauguration of the works of this fish landing centre (FLC). The project costing Rs.13.58 crore will be useful for the fishermen in this region.

The Fisheries Joint director Dr S Anjali on Friday visited Biyyaputippa village where the FLC being constructed. She told media that the tenders will be called for to take up the works of FLC and the works will be started in July this year.She visited the FRC site and visited the Chinamainavani Lanka village where Solar cum Wind Hybrid Chilling Plant construction with Rs.15 lakhs.
She also inspected the fish drying platform constructed with Rs.9 lakh under NREGS scheme. She also inspected the FRP Boat construction which sanctioned with a cost of Rs.50 lakh and directed the fisheries officials to distribute these FRP boats to fishermen within one month. She interacted with the farmers who sowing the crab cultivation in Turputallu village.
