Minister’s plea to Singapore Telugus
Roads and Buildings Minister Ch Ayyanna Patrudu called upon Telugu people in Singapore to contribute some of their revenues for mother land. The Minister announced that whatever funds raised , 50 per cent equity grant would be sanctioned under JNNURM and execute works at the sponsors native villages.

On an invitation, Ayyanna Patrudu went to Singapore and participated in the world NTR and Balakrishna birthday celebrations on Saturday. Addressing a large Telugu gathering, he said TDP was for the welfare Telugu people across the world.
He appreciated the Telugu people who were following the culture and observing the traditions. Lauding Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu' s vision and commitment in shaping new state of Andhra Pradesh, he said that Naidu is bringing a new brand name to the state on global map.On the occasion, the Minister launched a website of Telugu's settled in Singapore.
