Namana Rambabu appointed TDP East Godavari chief
The TDP leadership appointed Namana Rambabu as East Godavari party president. According to Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister N Chinnarajappa, the name of Namana was announced formally on Sunday.

The post fell vacant following the sudden demise of Parvata Sri Satyanarayana Murthy alias Chittibabu two years ago. Namana would relinquish the Zilla Parishad president post soon to accommodate Jyotula Naveen. According to sources, he sought time till July 6 as he will complete three years term as Zilla Parishad chief.
Meanwhile, Jyotula Naveen’s camp was gearing up to take the reins of Zilla Parishad and said to be in search of auspicious day preferably in the first week of July. According to sources, the issue was also discussed at the TDP meet organised here on Saturday with Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnadu.
Deputy Chief Minister N Chinnarajappa, Jyotula Nehru, Jagampeta MLA, who defected to TD from YSRCP, and father of Jyotula Naveen, were said to have taken an active role about the induction of Naveen as Zilla Parishad president.
