Three children were drowned in a check dam after they accidentally fell in the water at Gummepallene village in Singanamala mandal near here on Wednesday.
Anantapur: Three children were drowned in a check dam after they accidentally fell in the water at Gummepallene village in Singanamala mandal near here on Wednesday.
The children Teja, Nagireddy and Arvind, all are seven-years-old, were accidentally drowned. Ministers Kalava Srinivas and Paritala Sunitha in separate statements condoled the deaths of children and expressed shock at the tragedy. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu announced ex-gratia of Rs 1 lakh to the family members of the deceased children.
