Industrialist TG Bharat said that he will strive to transform Kurnool as sports hub.  Participating as chief guest in the 3rd State-level boys and girls (junior) Atya Patya Championship games held at Outdoor Stadium here on Sunday, Bharat said the athletes who perform well here would be selected for the national-level sports competitions to be held in Chennai from November 23 to 26.

Participating as chief guest in the 3rd State-level boys and girls (junior) Atya Patya Championship games held at Outdoor Stadium here on Sunday, Bharat said the athletes who perform well here would be selected for the national-level sports competitions to be held in Chennai from November 23 to 26.

Bharat said that he was encouraging the sports and athletes for the last 30 years and assured his contribution in further too. Corporation Commissioner Harinath Reddy wished the athletes all the best and perform well at the sports. As many as 11 teams (boys and girls) have been selected for the state-level Atya Patya competitions, said State Atya Patya secretary RD Prasad.

Rugby Association secretary Bollavaram Ramanjaneyulu, State Net Ball secretary Shivaram, School Games Federation (SFG) secretary Chlapathi Rao, Naga Rathnamaiah, CT Abraham, Raja Sekhar, PETs N Md Basha and Avinash participated.
