A Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Senior Divisional Railway Manager G Suneel Kumar from railways and General Manager-HR Narisetty Raja Rao from HPCL-VR in the presence of Divisional Railway Manager Mukul Saran Mathur and ADRM Ajay Arora, Chief Manager (HR) HPCL-VR US Sharma, here on Friday.
Visakhapatnam railway station being the cleanest station in Indian Railways in A-1 category, plans are afoot to make it into a smart station. Shouldering the social responsibility, the HPCL-VR proposed to make Visakhapatnam railway station more environment friendly station and extended cooperation to provide pet bottle recyling machines, garbage recyclers, stainless steel dustbins and grass cutter at an estimated investment of Rs 22 lakh.
