Tirupati: The former DGP of Andhra Pradesh, Dr Karanam Aravinda Rao motivated the students of Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha (RSVP) by saying that the Sanskrit students are no way comparable with others. He has delivered special lectures to the students of the RSVP on Tuesday. “I think everything is there in Sanskrit. The country needs bureaucrats with the background of our culture.

You may be an outstanding scholar but at the same time by putting all efforts, definitely you can be a bureaucrat and become country's policy maker and so on,” he advised them. In his presidential address, the Vice-Chancellor of Vidyapeetha Prof V Muralidhara Sharma assured that the RSVP will provide everything to the students and they should put all efforts and hard work to become a bureaucrat.

The lecture was started with a welcome note by Prof P Venkata Rao, co-ordinator for entry into service for SC/ST/OBC/ and minority community students with a brief report about the scheme. Followed by a report on Model Career Centre by the co-ordinator Dr V Ramesh Babu. Finally, programme ended with vote of thanks by Prof Ch P Satyanaryana, Registrar of the Vidyapeetha and well attended by scholars and aspirant students.

In another lecture in the afternoon, Dr Aravinda Rao said that the Bhagavad Gita is needed in the present-day scenario. He gave a call to students to study the Bhagavad Gita in a new way and find out what is there in it. Later, he was felicitated by the V-C Prof Muralidhara Sharma.
