Rajamahendravaram: Adikavi Nannaya University (AKNU) Vice-Chancellor Professor Murru Mutyala Naidu has released Nannaya CET-2018 notification at press conference held at Roads and Buildings Guest house here on Tuesday.

Nannaya CET-2018 will be held from May 7th to 9th in Krishna, East Godavari, West Godavari, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam and Visakhapatnam districts.

Disclosing the details, the Vice-Chancellor has said the CET will be conducted for admissions into PG courses in the university as well as its affiliated colleges in twin Godavari districts. The total seats are 6,205 - 2,670 seats in arts groups and 3,535 seats in science groups.

CET will be conducted in 11 centres - Rajamahendravaram, Kakinada, Amalapuram and Rampachodaavaram (East Godavari district), Eluru, Bhimavaram and Jangareddygudem (West Godavari district), Vijayawada (Krishna district) along with Srikakulam, Visakhapatnam and Vizianagaram. The examination centres were arranged in North Andhra districts as many students come from there, Mutyala Naidu said.

The university is offering 17 courses in science and 14 courses in arts. The applications will be accepted from March 13 through along with a fee
of Rs 500. For SC/STs, the fee is Rs 300 and the last date for payment of fee is April 14th. However, candidates can apply up to April 23rd with a late fee of Rs 1,000.

Hall tickets can be downloaded from the website from May 1st and classes will be commenced from June 18th. The original certificates will be verified at the counselling centres.
