Visakhapatnam: TDP MP Avanthi Srinivas is staging a dharna demanding railway zone for Vizag.The deeksha, which began at 9 AM, will end at 5 PM.
Several TDP MPs, MLAs and ministers will take part in the deeksha. Speaking on the occasion, the MP said that he was taking up deeksha with Alluri Seetharamaraju as his inspiration.
He said he was demanding a railway zone for Vizag with KK Line. He said Vizag fulfills every criterion to qualify for the special railway zone. It may be recalled that another TDP MP CM Ramesh has recently held fast for Vizag steel plant in Kadapa.
