Another case has been filed in Vijayawada against controversial film critic Kathi Mahesh for demeaning Hindu deities and spreading disaffection among religions.

A complainant identified as Vijay Kumar has lodged a complaint claiming that he had hurt the religious sentiments of the people by making derogatory remarks against Lord Rama and Goddess Seetha.

Based on the complaint, the Satyanarayanapuram police registered a case under sections 153 (A) and 505 (2) of the IPC. Further details are awaited.
