Amaravati: Lambasting on YSRCP president YS Jaganmohan Reddy, the TDP state president Kimidi Kala Venkata Rao said that he was not a mature leader and hence gave Bandh call in the state against TDP. The YSRCP protested on Tuesday by observing state bandh, demanding Special Category Status and proper implementation of AP Reorganisation Act.

Addressing the media here on Tuesday, Venkata Rao stated that the YSRCP failed in moving No-Confidence Motion in the Lok Sabha during the Budget Session of Parliament and they could not even gather support from other political parties to debate on the injustice done to AP, non-implementation of AP Reorganisation Act and other promises.

On the other hand, the TDP successfully motivated and ensured support from many political parties across the country to support Andhra Pradesh in the Lok Sabha during the debate on No-Confidence Motion moved by the party in Monsoon session, he added.

In addition, the TDP MPs effectively brought the issues pertaining to AP to the entire country and now majority of political parties are supporting the TDP’s move, he added. Venkata Rao said that the Jagan Mohan Reddy was doing politics for personal benefits and hence he was failing. “There will be no use by running political party for personal gains”, he said.

The TDP leader blamed that Jagan Mohan Reddy gave Bandh call in order to come out of the pending cases against Jagan Mohan Reddy, related to financial fraud and corruption.

He said that such bandhs will hamper the development of the State as well as the public suffer financially. He said that the public will revolt if the YSRCP would resort to such Bandh calls.
