AP Pesapallo players win gold, bronze medals
The players of Pesapallo Association of Andhra Pradesh PAAP, who participated in the 9th Pesapallo National Tournament held between July 26 and 29 at Pali, Rajasthan, won medals, said PAAP general secretary Sarala Srinivas Rao here on Wednesday
Vijayawada: The players of Pesapallo Association of Andhra Pradesh (PAAP), who participated in the 9th Pesapallo National Tournament held between July 26 and 29 at Pali, Rajasthan, won medals, said PAAP general secretary Sarala Srinivas Rao here on Wednesday.
He said that men, women and sub-junior (under 14 years) category players participated in the tournament and won the medals. He said that the sub-juniors' team won gold and men's team won bronze medal in the tournament.
District Sports Authority chief coach B Srinivas Rao said that the six-year dream of winning a gold medal came true at the 9th National Pesapallo Tournament.
He said that the players should excel and achieve many more medals for PAAP in future. He recalled that AP players played a key role in winning gold medal at Asian Cup Pesapallo tournament held in January 2018.
Organising secretary M Varun, Krishna district sports joint secretary John Victor Moses, international players K Pavan Kumar, V Jagadish and others were present.
