Blood donation camp to mark Friendship Day

Visakhapatnam: Selfless service to the needy is the motto of every Sathya Sai devotee, said SG Chalam, state president of Sri Satya Sai Seva Organisation, Andhra Pradesh at the district-level blood donation camp organised by women wing of the organisation at Akkayyapalem on Sunday.
Similar blood donation camps were organised at other locations, including PM Palem, Marripalem, and Kurmannapalem by the women wing of the organisation. To mark the Friendship Day, devotees and office bearers tied friendship bands to the blood donors.
A total of 117 units of blood was donated to NTR Trust Blood Bank, AS Raja Blood Bank and Gayatri Hospital Blood Bank. Priyadarshini, Vizag District Women Youth coordinator, and other devotees, including D Raghava Rao, district service coordinator, coordinated the camps.
