Visakhapatnam: Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA) has sanctioned Rs 2 crore towards the development of infrastructure of Mrs AVN College, said Principal D Vijaya Prakash here on Monday during a programme organised Mrs A V N College 'Capacity Building' for which state project director K Hariprasad, IIS from RUSA is the chief guest.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal D Vijaya Prakash said with the sanctioning of Rs 2 crore, the college will be equipped with latest technology and train the students to compete for the world in the present scenario. He also conveyed his gratitude to RUSA and mentioned this as the first achievement of the college after being accredited with NAAC “A” Grade this year.
Addressing the students, RUSA Director K Hari Prasad advised the students to spare less time for learning and more time for earning, an important formula for successful life. He stressed the need to develop communication skills and advised them to learn English language for career growth. One must be a good communicator to be well placed professionally, he said.
