Kadapa: A man killed his wife suspecting her fidelity at Nagulaguntla village in Porumamilla mandal on Wednesday. The deceased identified as Lakshminarasamma (26). According to CI Madhusudhan Goud, the accused Bojja Kondaiah had married Lakshminarasamma, a distant relative, of the same village eleven years ago.
For some time, the accused suspecting that his wife was having an extramarital affair with another man in the same village. On Tuesday night, she received severe injury on her eye after he thrashed her with belt.
On the pretext of taking deceased to hospital, the accused reportedly took her into the nearby field and killed her by hitting with stone. Later, he fled from the spot. Villagers noticed a woman lying in the fields and alerted the cops. A case was registered, and hunt was launched to nab the accused.
