GMC to give notices to owners of vacant lands in Guntur
GMC Commissioner Srikesh B Lathkar directed the officials to give notices to the owners of vacant of lands asking them to clean their lands the city
Guntur: GMC Commissioner Srikesh B Lathkar directed the officials to give notices to the owners of vacant of lands asking them to clean their lands the city.
He warned that if they did not keep their vacant lands clean, the GMC would take action against them.
He said that if the land owners did not respond, the GMC would clean the lands and collect the charges from them.
He inspected sanitation in Brodipet, Nallakunta and Sriram Nagar areas here on Friday.
Speaking on this occasion, he instructed the officials to conduct awareness programmes to keep surroundings clean to check spread of malaria and dengue.
He instructed them to conduct anti-larva operations and conduct fogging to check breeding of mosquitoes and check overhead tank in the houses.
