Vijayawada: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu unveiled the statue of the late Aluri Buchaiah Chowdary, who served as founder of the ABC Educational Institutions, in the city.
The Chief Minister said that the late Chowdary had strived for fulfilling his aims.
He called upon the students to follow the footsteps of the master. He praised the commitment and sincere services of Buchaiah Chowdary.
He said that the state is being developed as knowledge economy. The delta and Godavari districts were developed due to the efforts of Sir Aurthor Cotton.
The great people’s hard work never fails, he said. The state government was developing the greenery and maintaining cleanliness.
Minister Devineni Umamaheswara Rao, MP Kesineni Srinivas, MLAs Gadde Rammohan, Bode Prasad, MLCs TD Janardhan, B Arjunudu, Mayor Koneru Sridhar, Collector Lakshmikantham and family members of Buchaiah Chowdary were also present.
