A 25-year-old woman was killed and three others injured after they struck by lightning on Thursday evening while working in the agricultural fields in Nuthanapalli of Kurnool district.
The deceased Geetha along with three others went to the farm to remove weeds. All the four ran to a nearby tree to protect themselves from rain where they were hit by lightning and fell unconscious.
A man passing through them alerted the villagers and shifted them to a hospital where Geetha was declared by the doctors.
Meanwhile, the victims Noorjahan, Chitemma was undergoing treatment at the hospital.
