Vijayawada: A five-day art show ‘Inspire’ was inaugurated by Dr D Vizai Bhaskar, CEO, AP State Creativity and Culture Commission at Cultural Centre of Vijayawada and Amaravati (CCVA) gallery here on Sunday.

Inspire showcased the talent of two artists Maredu Ramu and Narayana Naik.

Speaking on the occasion, Vizai Bhaskar said that both the artists portrayed nature in its various facets.

The rich palette of colours and artists’ depth of imagination through their abstract expression on acrylics and canvas caught the fancy of the visitors.

About 31 artworks display various moods of the nature in its hues and shades.

Artist Maredu Ramu said, “More than the money, our art fetches was appreciation by art lovers that matters more to us’. A huge crowd of visitors including city based artists and art connoisseurs appreciated the artists for their skills in expression.

Dr E Sivanagi Reddy, CEO, CCVA curated the art show and briefed on the themes of the exhibits and said that the show will be on display till October 11 from 10 am to 7 pm.

Sandeep Mandava, CEO, Malaxmi Properties, artists Giridhar, Mallik, Sandhya Rangula and Golla Narayana Rao were present on the occasion.
