People’s participation important in development of nation: Vice-Chancellor Anil Bhumali


All sections of people should take part in the development and progress of nation so that India can secure a best position in human development index among the nations globally, said West Bengal Raiganj University ViceChancellor Anil Bhumali here on concluding day of two day international seminar on Social Economic of Human Development and Ease of Living in India held at Economics department
Visakhapatnam: All sections of people should take part in the development and progress of nation so that India can secure a best position in human development index among the nations globally, said West Bengal Raiganj University Vice-Chancellor Anil Bhumali here on concluding day of two- day international seminar on ‘Social Economic of Human Development and Ease of Living in India’ held at Economics department in Andhra University on Sunday.
Speaking on the occasion, Bhumali said that people’s participation was important in securing good place in the human development index. AU Registrar K Niranjan said that creating equal opportunities for all people would enrich the society. Many intellectuals from economics had designed many modules towards both financial and individual growth to lead a sustainable life in the society.
UPSC former member Prof K S Chalam said that many intellectuals had explained how economics would be helpful to mankind. Faculty members, research scholars and students participated in the seminar.
