Guntur: Minister for Social Welfare Nakka Anand Babu garlanded to the statue of Bahujana Samaj Party founder Kanshi Ram and paid tributes at AC College here on Wednesday, on the occasion of his death anniversary.
Speaking on this occasion, he said that the latter fought against caste and urged the youth follow his steps.
He said that Kanshiram came to power in UP and said that there was need to come to power to overcome backwardness.
He followed footsteps of Dr BR Ambedkar and tried for unity among Dalits.
