A two day workshop on Google applications held for the faculty of Maris Stella College on the college premises concluded on Tuesday
Vijayawada: A two-day workshop on Google applications held for the faculty of Maris Stella College on the college premises concluded on Tuesday.
The resource person on the concluding day was Dr Samuel Johnson of VIT-AP, Amaravathi.
He spoke on life skills and their importance. He said that these classes would be useful to streamline the process of knowledge between the students and the teachers.
Lecturers were advised to update their knowledge as per the changing technology and teachers should follow the adult psychology and act accordingly.
Team work and interaction sessions will workout to bring good result, said Dr Johnson.
The resource person for the workshop on the inaugural day was Dr Anupama of VIT-AP, Amaravathi.
She spoke on various Google tools which were useful for the preparation of assignments and video classes and its importance.
She said that these classes would be useful to conduct quiz competitions also. She conducted a practical session in preparation of classes.
About 30 faculty members from UG and PG participated in this workshop.
