Vijayawada: The members of Andhra Pradesh Rationalist Association (APRA) alleged that the BJP-led NDA government was misleading the devotees in the name of devotion and faith.
Addressing the media here on Sunday, APRA president Narne Venkata Subbaiah blamed the Central government for taking advantage of the devotees’ belief and making an issue out of the Supreme Court order to allow women inside Sabarimala Ayyappa Temple.
He blamed the BJP government for taking advantage of the issue for their political gain.
Progressive Forum secretary B Jamindaru and APRA secretary M Ajay Kumar demanded that the BJP government implement the Supreme Court order and permit women to enter the temple.
