Hyderabad: A public interest litigation (PIL) was filed on Friday in the Hyderabad High Court, seeking directions to the CBI to investigate the attack on YSRCP president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy in Visakhapatnam on Thursday.

Anil Kumar Borrugadda filed the PIL, praying the court to give directions to the Andhra Pradesh Principal Secretary for Home, Visakhapatnam Police Commissioner and the station house officer of Kancharapalem to submit the evidence relating to the attack on Jaganmohan Reddy to the court in a sealed cover.

The petitioner also prayed the court to issue a Writ of Mandamus to the respondents to conduct detailed inquiry into the case. The petition is expected to come up for arguments on Tuesday.
