Vijayawada: A 23-year-old woman employee and director of a private company went missing in the city on Saturday after duping youth assuring placements in call centres.
Krishnalanka police, who registered the case noticed the duo have cheated some youth promising them jobs and collected Rs 5 lakh from them.
According to Krishnalanka police, Vijay Kumar MD of a private company AJ Technologies and B Reena Rechal went missing since Saturday.
Parents of the girl met the Patamata police and lodged a complaint that their daughter Reena was missing from Saturday. They have alleged that the MD of the company had kidnapped their daughter.
Interestingly, the Krishnalanka police booked a cheating case on the duo and began the probe.
The accused promised jobs in call centres to about 40 unemployed youth and collected Rs 5 lakh and gave a slip.
