Vijayawada: Four students of Sri Viswabharathi Vidyanikethan, Patamata have been selected for CM Cup state-level cycling competition, said the school headmaster, P Murali here on Wednesday.
He said that the students would participate in the event to be held at Vinukonda from November 9 to 11. The boys have performed well at the selections held at Gannavaram on October 28. He wished that they would perform well at the CM Cup competition and qualify for the national team.
The selected boys for Under 17 years category are U Saikiran and D Vasu of Class X and K Dhinesh of Class IX. For Under 14 years category R Ajay Kumar of Class IX is selected for the state-level CM Cup Tournament, he added. The headmaster, staff and students congratulated the boys and wished them best of luck.
