Badminton player Jayasri felicitated
Praising the badminton player Jayasri Dr Amruthapani, said Persons like Jayasri are promising great future for the country
Chirala: Praising the badminton player Jayasri Dr Amruthapani, said “Persons like Jayasri are promising great future for the country”.
He organised a felicitation to the deaf and dumb badminton player at Amma Hospital in Chirala on Sunday.
Speaking on the occasion, Amruthapani said that Nalluri Jayasri stood in second place in Under 21 women doubles, third place in the women doubles and mixed doubles categories in the Asia Pacific Badminton Tournament.
He said that she overcame her disability and proved her mettle to the world again by her performance in the tourney.
He said that the girls like Jayasri were bringing name and fame to the state and the nation. He along with other guests appreciated Jayasri’s father Nalluri Krishna for his efforts and encouraging her to excel in badminton.
PD Nancharaiah, Sk H Kabir, Dr Baby Rani, Yamparala Subbarao, Chunduru Vasu, Podili Swamy, Potturi Subbaiah, Kagitala Kishore and others also participated in the programme.
