4.5 cr worth bridge remains useless

Bhimavaram: It took about 10 years to complete a bride on Yanamadurru drain constructed at a cost of Rs 4.5 crore here.
The bridge, constructed under delta modernisation, remain unused as approach roads are not included in the project. The bridge was laying useless for want of approach roads for a few months.
It is the third bridge in the town on Yanamadurru which geographically divides the town. People have been suffering a lot because of traffic problem in the town.
If allowed to traffic movement, this bridge will help to deal with the traffic problem to a great extent. The existing two bridges were congested and causing traffic problems.
People argue that if it took 10 years to finish the third bridge, how long will it take to propose approach roads and complete them in order to bring the bridge to use.
The people’s representatives and officials should take initiative to address the traffic problem by bringing the bridge for public use.
