Kadapa: Rajampet MLA and government Whip M.Mallikarjuna Reddy has said that despite government is facing severe financial hurdles but committed to provide houses to all homeless poor in the state.

Addressing the gathering after laying foundation for construction of 574 houses cost at Rs 78.50 crores under Pradahna Mantri Avas Yojana (PMAY) NTR housing scheme at Rajampet on Monday he said the aim of the chief minister is every poor must have to house in the state as government is taking pains to achieve such mammoth task. He said houses would be completed by 2019 March.

He urged the beneficiaries to approach municipal authorities to select the houses allocated under 3 categories. He said in the first phase houses should be allocated for 600 beneficiaries against applied 1200 applied due to noticed some errors found in their applications. He said after rectification of mistakes all would get the houses very soon.

Earlier the government whip has laid foundation for construction of women junior college cost at Rs 4.20crores, and inaugurated mineral water plant in Nandaluru town. Rajampet RDOM.Kodanda Rami Reddy, Rajampet municipality E.Srinivasulu town planning officer Adhikari Murthy and others were present.
