Rajamahendravaram: Walkers International Convention will be held at Sri Venkateswara Anam Kala Kendram here on December 8 and 9.
Disclosing the details at a media conference held here on Friday, Walkers International president Koduri Ranga Rao said that for the first time, the international convention was being held in the historical city.
A model farmer Satti Bhaskar Reddy and Walkers Club past presidents K Ramanujam and ASR Prasad would be felicitated in recognition of their services and appreciation award would also be given to the club, he added.
International council meeting would be held in the city prior to the commencement of the two-day convention.
Dr NS Rama Raju and Dr Karuturi Subramanyam deliver lectures on heart diseases and diabetes, he averred.
On the second day, walking competition and other programmes would be organized. Walkers Club members Surapureddy Tata Rao and Volireddy Jagapathi Rao were present.
