Kadapa: With the victory of TRS in Telangana polls, the YSRCP made TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu responsible for Congress defeat. In a joint press meet here on Tuesday, YSRCP MLAs Ravindranath Reddy and Amjad Basha and Kadapa Mayor P Suresh said that the Congress would have secured 50 to 60 Assembly seats if it had contested alone without forging a poll alliance with the TDP.
They opined that the Congress will face the same situation at national-level if it enters into poll tie-up with the TDP in 2019 elections. Newly elected YSRCP State secretary P Nagarjuna Reddy said that Telangana people gave a historic verdict in the elections.
