Hindupur: BITS Engineering College celebrated the 156th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda at its campus here on Saturday. Acharya Ajith speaking on the occasion said that India's massive human resources were the youth. 

The Swami's teachings are an inspiration to the youth of the country. BITS Chairman Chandra Mohan stated that Swami Vivekananda is a role model to the youth and students. 

He said the youth should go forward with confidence like the Swamy and fly high in life. 

Other guests of honour Dr Pushpalatha, Rajendra Singh and Pratap Kantham, who spoke on the occasion, said that the youth and skill development were interlinked. 

Later, the college chairman distributed prizes and awards to meritorious students. College Principal A Ramesh has proposed vote of thanks.
