Rajamahendravaram: The State government has appointed Prof AV Prasad Rao (vice-chancellor of Rayalaseema University) as in-charge vice-chancellor of Adi Kavi Nannaya University.
As the existing in-charge vice-chancellor Prof S Rama Krishna Rao's tenure expired, the government appointed a new in-charge vice-chancellor. Prof Rao, earlier served as the Professor in Inorganic and Analytical Chemistry in the Andhra University.
As many as 14 research scholars did their PhD and nine in M Phil under his guidance. He has more than 30 years of teaching experience.
The University staff greeted the new in-charge vice-chancellor.
