Fishermen demand inclusion in coop society

Ongole: The youth belonging to the fishermen community from Ongole and surrounding villages demanded that the government offer new memberships in the Fishermen Cooperative Society in Ongole on Tuesday.
The Ongole Fish Market Association president Kokkiligadda Samudralu, Agnikula Kshatriya Yuvajana Seva Sangham president Kokkiligadda Brahmaiah, Gollapothu Nagaraju, Prasad, and others met the fisheries department joint director and submitted a representation to him.
They informed the officer that there were vacancies for 108 members in the existing society and asked him to fill them up with the new members immediately and also increase the number of memberships as per the need of today.
The joint director assured the fishermen community that favorable action will be taken after consulting with the respective officials.
